Sog

I've posted this in another forum but had no reply so I'll try it here. I bought a washing machine from a well known high street retailer nearly 3 years ago & last night the digital screen messed up. When trying to put it on a certain setting it wouldn't go on the one I want & wouldn't wash. Since then it won t work at all. I have contacted said retailer & they are going to come out to try & fix it on Tuesday. I have since been told that I am covered for 6 years by the SOG but I don't know how to go about it. Any advice is very welcome. I apologise if this doesn't completely make sense, I'm not very good with things like this

If its out of warranty but you expected it to last longer then you pay for an engineers report to show them that the fault is inherent and not simply wear and tear or misuse.

No, it was currys. I did think I would get longer than 3 years with it but I'm not sure how to prove it. Am I best just paying them to fix it? I'm new to all this

    Welcome to the forums.

Start by reading MSE's Consumer Rights guide.

If you have further questions on this, can I suggest you ask them on The Consumer Rights Board?

Just because you didn't get an answer within the hour, it doesn't mean you are being ignored.
Check the other thread you started, you have all the answers you need there.
