Top Tip - To save you any furthur hassle Ice Weasel and you can walk a few hundred yards, simply park at Cornhill Shopping Centre and walk down to the hospital. Or any street in Mastrick - it's all free and not time controlled.

I received an Unauthorised Parking Notice after parking in the lower section of the Main Car park at ARI. Apparently, this is the Staff tarmac.
There are no signs anywhere in the carpark that state that this is the Staff car park. The barrier into this area shows only a hand written sign that says EXIT ONLY. The exit to the visitors area takes you through the Staff section, but no warning signs anywhere in the car park.

Who issued the ticket - and who does it say to pay to?

There are two lower sections to the main car park - One is Uni, so Smart Parking and the other is ARI - with the ambiguous signage, at least on my last visit.

Smart have also commissioned another Uni car park there recently - at the East of the site but this time with a barrier system that only responds to Uni staff cards.
