Most commercial fleet vehicles have cameras now too, so there should be video. If they failed to keep it... Well, doesn't look good for them, destroying evidence that could have easily shown who was at fault. Your solicitor should be chasing all these angles for you.
Buy a camera for your own car too. They are well worth it considering the fairly low cost.
I keep mentioning this crucial piece of information to the solicitor but she just keeps ignoring it. Really annoying.0 -
Still no further updates from her. Really losing my patience over this. And its starting to stress me out a little bit.
Is this a tactic they use to just get me to sign the 50/50 agreement.
I understand these things take time but its frustrating me so much because I don't feel like she is acting on my behalf.
I've chased again. Asking exactly what is the current position and requesting that she provides me with a plan of action of what she is going to do to resolve this situation on behalf of her client, me.
God knows what she will come back with, but if I don't get a decent response then I will have to phone Hastings and complain I suppose.0 -
Right she replied to my email saying that she has written to the TP insurers to ask the TP to provide details of the accident from their point of view, their direction of travel how they saw the accident happened etc.
I'm pleased about this as this means they will finally have information to use to obtain a decent defence. The driver will have to admit that he hit me whilst stationary and drove off afterwards.
The annoying thing it has taken this long for them to actually ask for it rather than go straight in for 50/50 based on two line emails from the TP denying liability!
I've had to sit on them to do this and its very frustrating.0
