Nokia Lumia 630 MicroSD card not working

Hi all,
My wife has a brand new Lumia 630, I tried putting a microSD card into it last night but the phone didnt recognise it. I tried two other SD cards with the same result.

I've googled it but cant find any info. Before I go back to the supplier, is there anything needs done on the phone to enable the card, or should it just work when inserted?

    You need MicroSD cards, preferably HD with a maximum size of 128Gb. Any more and they will not be recognised.

    Do micro-SD cards bigger than 128Gb even exist?

    This proble is usually card requires formatting .

    I tried formatting the card using FAT and it didnt work, so I then formatted it NTFS and the phone detected it but didnt like it and wanted to format it, I selected format but it failed.

    I wonder is it the class of card it doesnt like. I'll maybe try to get a higher class of card.

    If that fails, I'll try the hard reset as suggested in Quiet Sparks link
