I enjoy watching the footie but I am no good at predicting goals/scores etc! Who could have predicted Spain would have been going home so soon!?

Snap though we could be at an advantage if everyone who knows a bit thinks the hot favourites will win and we choose the outsiders and they cause an upset That's what I am telling myself anyway

If you are sick of them I presume there's a scroll function on your mouse? Just scroll past them. That way you won't get so wound up you feel the need to start a thread complaining about competitions on a competition forum.

Doesn't seem like there is a lot you can do on here recently without someone having an unnecessary pop. Could be just possible that the thread was started for a bit of light hearted banter but no it gets shot down with sarcasm.Not surprising so many choose just to enter the comps and not get involved in any other way. We don't see anyone tell you MaineBlue that you don't have to post the Man United comps that you joke are just rags or pain you to go onto the site do we? So what is so different here ? Like no one is forcing gholmes724 to enter these like you say also no one is forcing you to post them and if he/she wants to start a thread about anything or complain about anything then this is an open forum and they have the right do so.Last time I looked there was a thread or maybe 2 that had pages and pages of people complaining about competitions on a competition forum I didn't see anyone pass judgement on those complaints in fact many added their gripes but no when certain people do it then they seem to be an easy target.
I say carry on gholmes724 and start threads on what you like as you have as much right to start a thread as anyone else and if others don't like it then tough

Best way to deal with people who have an 'unnecessary pop' is to completely ignore them. That's what hurts them most. After all they're already in their own hell and trying to make themselves feel better by attempting to make someone else feel bad.

Blimey sid, you got out of bed on the wrong side this morning didn't you. Who's having a pop? The OP posted a thread complaining about football comps, I suggested they scrolled past them if they didn't want to enter them. Seems a pretty reasonable solution to me. If any one is having a pop at anyone it's you having a pop at me so I'd thank you to apologise and I'll brush this under the carpet and forget about it.
