Sid, a few points
1) I'm not the one trolling. You clearly are though by taking this thread off topic and being rude and insulting to other members, which is in breach of MSE forum rules.
2) No, I haven't complained about competitions being posted ever. In fact I have repeatedly said on this forum that people who moan about competitions that they don't like (be that Raffllecopter's, Twitter comps, Mag Daily's or in this case Football competitions) should scroll past them rather than get stressed about them. This forum is for everyone and there will obviously be comps that they / you don't want to enter. I don't feel the need to start a thread about it though. I, wait for it.... scroll past them and move on to a comp I wish to enter.
3) I wasn't aware I needed a new carpet. Granted, the cat does like a good scratch but there's plenty of life left in them yet.
4) Have a good weekend away. I shall miss your attempts at trolling though.

Look guys, this is mental. The OP started a thread having a light hearted pop about something. MaineBlue responded in the same way. And HELLO-OH, have you ever read MaineBlue’s posts? You’d be hard pushed to find one where he wasn’t engaging in friendly banter.

Convo last night between me and the Hublet:

Him: I can’t find my keys
Me: have you tried…opening your eyes and looking?

That’s the same tone as used by the OP and by MaineBlue. Unless people think I was trolling my husband – EEK!

This should be nipped in the bud. The real issue is that typed words are easier to misinterpret than spoken words. That’s all that’s happened here.

Although, now I think about it, all those times that MaineBlue has spoken about Jose Mourinho parking the bus – hmmm perhaps he is a troll after all :eek::eek::eek:
