Embarrassed...

Options
Well after starting off stonkingly well... I've spiralled out of control and i'm worse off than I was I feel soo embarrassed.

Emotionally a few things happend and I just went off the rails, buying things to make me feel better and going out to avoid sitting at home.... thinking

I'm now 2 weeks before payday and I have a -£6 bank balance with £377.67 to find to pay the rest of my monthly committments

I'm so sorry! i feel like i've let you guys down as well as myself...your'e all doing so well...

I need to sort this, i'm so close to having all my defaults wiped after loosing my job I really don't want to get anymore

Give me a second and I will post the sad state of affairs.

Please don't beat yourself up sweetie. I know exactly how you feel. Admitting that you've had a slip is one of the hardest things to do; and you've had the courage to do that.

If we never made mistakes, we'd be deities and not humans.

    You'll get there. xx
  • Emily, can you claim Working Tax Credits? And are you claiming your 25% single occupier discount on council tax?

What is the £5 rent? Also, I think Sky needs to go - it accounts for apapproximately half your monthly shortfall!

You have let no one down :)

You have done a great thing posting here and you know everyone will chip in to help you along the way.

Your SOA.. £5 rent? Is this correct?

hey thank you your making me well up!

yes i own a leasehold so the £5 goes toward the ground rent for the year.

I rung Sky i'm locked in for the next 6 months so i've put in the diary when the contract runs out I need the broadband for Uni though so I reckon I will only be able to cut the £44 in half.. but at least i will have found £20. i've got my single person discount and I can't get working tax credits.

so the plan of action tonight is:

    1) hit up ebay
    2) take a read of the up your income board
    3) take stock of the food cupboards
    4) cancel all social events not already paid in full for

    Longer term

    1) start charging my phone at work
    2) pack lunches
    3) take metre readings and see if I can lower my leccy spend
    4) get into the habit of switiching my data off on my mobile when at work as i always go over by the looks
    5) send in a complaint regarding the two charges a month appearing on my bill for calls to myself!
    6) make use of the free O2 coffee on a friday rather than buy
