  • You're OK you are, don't worry about us, it's family isn't it? We share the joys as well as the sorrows and this one is a real joy so enjoy and be happy!!!
  • FIFTYEIGHTER I am so pleased for you and your Son, I hope he continues to improve. Isn't it lovely that you are becoming closer again.

You are entitled to have your happy moment after such a traumatic time, and I am sure shedding a few tears helped you release a lot of tension.

    Much love

I've been reading every day but not found time to post, hubby & I went out for a meal y'day for our 3rd wedding anniversary, my DD's both visited on Tuesday & I had to take my car for it's MOT, & 2 DGC have been taken & collected from after school clubs & a friend of hubby's dropped in unexpectedly, so it's been busy here.
Hubby & I both worked a 10 hour day today, he didn't get a lunch break, but I did.
MIL, is doing ok, the brothers are still fighting & trying to persuade hubby to join one side or the other.
Wonder of wonders, my car just scraped through it's MOT, I have a long list of 'advisory's' but it should last me until I can get another one. The faulty sensor doesn't become a fail until Sept this year.
Molly, I hope things are improving for you & that your parents aren't putting too many demands on you.
Snoozer funny both of us having the same name & our hubby's too.
LW are yo still on your hols?
Fiftyeighter, glad you've had some good news.
Hilly, I hope you are feeling better.
I know there was more I wanted to say & other people I wanted to mention, but I've been up since 4 & my hay fever is driving me mad, so I'll sign off for now.
    Have a good evening all
    Hugs Hester

    Evening all,

First chance I've had to post as we've been to an open day at Sheffield Uni, with our youngest DS. Very impressed with the Biology Department. It's been a nice day spending some quality time with him, he's usually out with mates, GF, or at college or work.
TTFTM Happy birthday to your DD, your right time flies.
Hugs for those who need them molly, Meanmarie , Hilly, redruby, LW, hester MiL
Meanmarie if it's any help I didn't wait long at all for my knee replacement, hope it's the same in your neck of the woods
    fifty eighter wonderful news xx
Congrats to NMLC, hope our son passes his quick but a car is out if the question until he finishes Uni.
Judi glad your son has his apprenticeship sorted.
Sorry if I've missed anyone, my brain is tired

Just a question for you knowledgeable ladies. I've got incredibly sore boobs. Feel swollen and hot sore to the touch. I'm pretty sure it's water retention. Not due a period and definitely not pregnant. Any ideas? I'm thinking of picking up some water tablets tomorrow.

Ok off to watch England, I am in the minority I think, love watching England. Have a good evening:)

fiftyeighter - What wonderful news all round. I hope you can share many happy years enjoying each others company.
    HH - That's a long day.
    Congratulations to Master NMLC

Julie 67 - I used to suffer from this, usually about 2 weeks before my period. I sympathise as it is agony. I stopped taking any kind of caffeine and the symptoms seem to have gone away.
