mis-sold running trainers!

You say money is tight but you paid £70 for Karimor trainers? That's the range of money you could have went to a sports shop & not a tat warehouse! I agree if they were supposed to be "support" trainers they should do the job, but by the same measure half the Sports Direct staff I've encountered are barely able to tell their backside from their elbow! (And lord alone knows for my sins I'm a former SD staff member!)Retired member - fed up with the general tone of the place.0

Got my money back! I am shocked but pleasantly surprised! Manager was even polite and helpful! Although it is a lesson learned and i will NOT be buying my running shoes from Sports Direct! 0

£70 is not exactly budget running shoes, not sure how you were trying to be moneysaving there!
Go to a proper running place and get fitted properly and then if you're looking to try and save money hunt around for a previous version. I have run in Asics GT2150s they no longer make so bought a pair of GT1000 v2s that are a year or two down from the current range and as a result were about £55 from wiggle.Thinking critically since 1996....0 -

Why did you buy them then, if it's that obvious?!Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -

Given that we are talking about Sports Direct I find this very hard to believe.0 -
Op I don't get why you'd go to sports direct and spend £70 on a "budget" pair of trainers, rather than a better suited shop! My Asics were £85, not much in price really."Nothing, Lucilius, is ours, except time." - Seneca
