Also Mindfulness: finding peace in a chaotic world.
It has a cd with practice meditations and has a good introduction to mindfulness which is easy to read. It then guides you through an eight week programme.
Trevor Powell's Mental health Handbook -lost of good short sections in hadnout style. Easy to dip in and out. He also does a good cognitive/brain work out one.Met DH to be 2010

Found this book hugely helpful and probably the reason people continually ask me where my confidence comes from. It all started when I read this.

I might look into the 'Feel the Fear' book. I tried Paul McKenna's 'Heal Your Life in 7 Days' and it didn't really make a difference.
I'm not looking for anything specific, I just want to get more from life.0
