Seriously, you make a complete and utter c*ck up of your brake advice, a complete and utter c*ck up of your posting on grammar, and then that's your best comeback? Have you been sacked from Kwik Fit for not reaching their standards?0 -
Well done OP, they are clearly covering their backsides because of the phantom NT.
You will be able to clearly see a new drum, it will be nice and steel like - for about a week until it reverts to rusty brown - when you have a look see.
Incidentally, if that is done, then they do sound legit. A blown brake cylinder can happen at any time and you'd be surprised how often components - especially brakes, pipe and seals - give up the ghost at MOT time. It is probably the only time in a year that they are used in anger.0 -
Who's paying for the parts?0

Who's paying for the parts?
The garage are, everything fitted and the car retested as a "goodwill gesture"
Like I told them today whichever way it went it was going to cost me money so I wasnt happy.
Kind of glad the original tester mucked it up in a way as looking at the price of the parts it would probably have cost me more than the front discs and pads :rotfl:0 -
