Hi
I've been trying to send a large file to someone via email, but Outlook Express gets nearly to the end and gives up,
Thunderbird just says it's too big.
I can't use the sharing folder on Messenger (thats another story)
Is there a way of making Outlook send the file
Thanks

Depends how large you mean
But there are limits on file sizes for email!
You could always install a free FTP server on your pc, and let the other user just connect directly to download the file[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]"The internet is a great way to get on the net."

Upload it to http://www.yousendit.com/ and send the person the link created. They can download from the link.0
-
open a free gmail.com account - huge capacity0
-
use winrar and split the file into smaller chunks.0

Thank you very much everyone, got it sent with the Yousendit,

Thanks button isn't working on a couple of you for some reason!0 -
Google "File Splitting Software" and choose one of the many free downloads. You can then split your file to suit, email off the bits and let the recipient know if they need the same software to re-hydrate the bits.0
