Hobby craft refusing to refund item!

What if you had to sign for the card?
I used to work in a retailer where if a refund was issued, a signature was taken and agreed to the card before the refund processed.
If it was clear that the card holder wasn't the person in front of me, it would have been obvious fraud for them to try and sign as the person. And I would have been partaking in the fraud by saying the signatures matched when I knew they didn't really.
The pedant in me would also refuse to refund to an unsigned card unless you had another card that was signed and matched the name on the refund card. But I usually saved that line for the more awkward customers...0 -
