  • Hello to everyone who has posted comments I was about to instruct them to work in a tricky employment tribunal case and felt so appalled by all your comments i have looked into their terms and have found they outsource to a south African company. You can instruct them only to use UK companies it's in clause 20 also outlined are the contact details to complain internally and also externally the ombudsmen. It's all in the terms good luck jjee

Just an update,my son was involved in a car accident last week, not his fault and again Direct Line tried to force these clowns on us,we refused and they have agreed for us to utilise our own lawyers for the claim
  • DLG were appointed by my insurers, Churchill following a RTA in 2013. It is a very straightforward claim as the third party was convicted of driving with undue care and attention and his insurers accepted full liability.

Despite this, DLG have proved incapable in every regard - avoid this company!

    I remain without compensation!

Has anybody reported DLG to the Law Society?
  • i have just reported them to the ombudsman
  • Glad you managed that. Any advice on how you achieved it, as I am trying to do the same at the moment having researched the 2 panel solicitors they have offered. Thanks in advance.
  • My case has been going on with these for over 3 years (in their various different names over the time)

The case handler is dreadful and I have complained to them on numerous occasions. It has taken them the 3 years to arrange an MRI, 2 Doctors consultations (after 1 was struck off).

They are terrible at communicating and I even emailed 2 weeks ago (after not being able to speak to anyone on the phone as it was just ringing out) and still had no response not even an acknowledgement of the email.

Can anyone help in advising how I go about taking my complaint further.

Direct Line have recently instructed DLG for a no fault claim, instead of working for me they have been harassing me. PLEASE DON'T USE THEM, THEY REALLY ARE THAT BAD. you have been warned.
