Started job - WP is trying to contact my employer

You could write to the WP, pointing out that you have withheld permission and that you have not changed your mind. In the letter, state that you are being contacted on a daily basis and that you wish this to stop. You could also ask the Job Centre for advice - they might be able to put a stop to the calls, though I doubt it.
If the calls are in work time, keep your mobile on silent or put it in your bag or drawer. You're there to work, as you say, not to answer your personal phone. If you are concerned about others not being able to contact you in an emergency (partner, school if you have kids), then make sure that they have the company landline number and your extension. There should be no need for anyone to contact you during work hours, generally speaking.
If the WP are contacting you on the company phone, then maybe HR can stop them. After all, the WP are preventing you from working. A strongly worded letter, including the names of those who continually contact you, might help.
Finally, the calls should not be taking up five minutes each time. If you do answer, it only takes a few seconds to listen to who it is, say 'No thank you', and put the phone down. Five minutes implies that you are conversing with them. Engaging with them in this way will encourage them to think that you will give in.0 -
Every month I got the same as you, I decided to send an email stating that we're not allowed mobiles at work, or allowed to take personal calls therefore they were jeopardising my job... I also told them I don't finish work til 6:30 and start at 8:00 therefore it was impossible to talk to them...
They stopped calling my work/home/mobile, started sending letters instead threatening to sanction me, if I didn't tell them if I was working, errr i'm not on benefits? LOL0 -
If they are calling you every day this is clearly harassment, if you can pop in to your local police station and make a complaint. Make sure you give them the names and phone numbers of those harassing you. The police may do nothing but they may phone the WP and tell them you have made a complaint that may be enough to stop them.

Just write to them stating that you obtained a role without their assistance, and you do not require any further communcation with them. Advise them that any further attempt on their behalf to contact you must be in writing as their repeated attempts to call you during the day could endanger your current role, and you had already made it very clear that you did not give consent for them to contact anyone about you so they should refrain from trying to contact your new employer as well. Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....

When they answer say said your not said person (I'm assuming they wont recognise your voice.) there or just don't answer. Still use a call blocking app, they can block loads of numbers not just 1.0

Someone is just trying to do their job, just like you. Why do you choose to be obstructive and uncooperative? Do you appreciate the implications of pi55ing people off whom you just might need help from at some time in the future? The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....0

No, they're just fishing for bonuses.0

You are missing a big point here - they have NOT found OP a job. OP found a job. They are harassing OP as they want to get a bonus/commission they should have got IF they found OP a job. As they did not - they are not entailed to claim they have helped and get any money so this is pure harassment.0 -

That's lame advice. Never ever put in writing confirming you're working. Don't confirm you're now employed.0 -

Work Programme providers are entitled to claim money from the government even where they do nothing to help a person in to employment. If a person is officially on the Work Programme, and that person finds a job without help from the WP provider, the provider can still claim the money. Which is why the OP is being harassed, the WP provider wants their pound of flesh.0
