Early Termination Penalty after upgrading with T-Mobile?

Basically had two weeks left on my contract with T-Mobile and they offered me more minutes & internet for slightly less than what I had been paying. I accepted the offer which was great considering it's a on going monthly contract as well instead of 12 months.

On my next bill I see that they have charged me an Early Termination Penalty for the two weeks I had left on my last contract, never seen this before. I stayed with T-Mobile not left.

    Complain.
When you upgrade, the contract gets extended, not terminated.

Are you sure they haven't punted you over to EE?

I phoned them after I got home from work and was told I should not have been charged. They will credit my next bill without any fuss.

I had originally asked for my PAC code and the contract was setup for termination from that day, even though retentions phoned me a few days later with a better offer. Bit off confusion on their end, never seen it happen before.

    Thanks.
