    I must add that ours is out on the kitchen wall so access is good once the front and side panels are off, if it's buried in the back of a cupboard I dread to think. I've done diverter valves on Vaillant boilers and they were much easier to remove, this one is awkward.

    I recon a couple of hours work plus the parts so whatever your local plumbers rates are, but at least you know exactly what the problem is and you won't get duped.
