I must add that ours is out on the kitchen wall so access is good once the front and side panels are off, if it's buried in the back of a cupboard I dread to think. I've done diverter valves on Vaillant boilers and they were much easier to remove, this one is awkward.
I recon a couple of hours work plus the parts so whatever your local plumbers rates are, but at least you know exactly what the problem is and you won't get duped.Out on blue six..
