I have a theory. I am guessing the system says your contract start date is the date the transfer from O2 happened. Most billing systems are highly automated. My best guess (as someone who writes systems for this sort of thing) is Skys billing system cant tell that you effectively have no minimum term (obviously all normal customers do) so the ETC was raised.
