It was 15 months ago....March last year. Why wait so long?

He has 3 years to claim. What's your point?

Why drag up an old-ish thread just to have a dig?

  • imagine this..same patch of land, your child fell in a deep water filled hole and drowned, was it the childs own fault for not looking? Its for the law to detetmine liability.

Seeing you decided to come up with this scenario how about the following possibility:

    It was the parents fault!

He means you've replied to a 2 week old thread likely for the purpose of having a dig at gik who you are (coincidentally) arguing with on another thread. In other words, it makes it look like you're being petty by trawling his old posts in an effort to nitpick and expand the argument into other threads.
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride

If you didn't lose any money over the accident, then I don't think you should sue. It's bad luck, that's life, accidents happen. I had an accident at work when I was 19, I hurt my back and I could have sued but I just think it's bad karma, and if everyone sues every time they have an accident, where would it end?

If you had hurt yourself enough that it meant loss of earnings, or that you needed care, then fair enough, otherwise be grateful it wasn't that bad.
