Are phone charges covered under guarantee?

I took out a 24 month contract with T.Mobile for an iPhone 5s in November last year.

The charger stopped working the other day.

I phoned EE (t.mobile) and they said its over 6 months old so the charger is no longer guaranteed.

Does anyone know if this is correct?

Thanks

It is normally policy that they don't replace accessories after 6 months and if you wanted them to, you would need to prove the fault was inherent by way of an indepent report.

You could try an Apple store - they might cover under warranty - my hubby had an issue with his earphones which he needs for work and they swapped for brand new in the Apple store.

thought that only applied to batterys
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

Apple's 12 month warranty covers accessories. Either make an appointment with a Genius if you have an Apple Store near you or you can start the mail in process at https://selfsolve.apple.com/agreementWarrantyDynamic.do

Certain retailers replace within 28 days then refuse to do anything. Problem is it's just a generic wire with no imei and no receipt.
