Hi all,
Once again, many thanks for the replies. To report back on some of your suggestions - tried to fit in as much as possible, but I was only there a few days. Had a lovely trip to the Farne Islands, visited Alnwick Castle and Lindisfarne/Holy Island...plus a few light refreshments of an evening! Also managed to stop at Beamish on the way back - a bit further away, but worth a visit I think if enroute somewhere! Highly recommend The Ship Inn, in Seahouses - this was the best pub in my experience of the time I was there.0 -
But did you try the fish & chips???Reason for edit? Can spell, can't type!0
