Need help composing letter to SRA. Any help would be much appreciated

To be honest, I wouldn't bother notifying the SRA yet as they probably are not going to be interested at this stage. I'd focus on keeping the LBCCC paper chain going, let them dig themselves into a hole, and report them later.

Come back when the 14 days given in your last letter has expired, and we'll help you from there.

My understanding of PoFA is that the OP can name the driver at any time until an actual court claim is filed; this should 'reset the process', and give the driver a chance to appeal to POPLA.

In practice, if the RK and driver are the same person (don't answer this!), I expect that PE will refuse to issue a POPLA code regardless.
  • Good news. I spoke to the landowner and they told PE to cancel my PCN. Received my cancellation letter from PE today. Thanks to everyone for all advice given

    Great result. Now relax :)
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
