Breakfast stuff WU, leaving it to air dry as there is tonnes and will take ages. Windows are open so it'll be ready to put away soon enough.

DS2 decluttered to school, looked for his PE kit but couldn't find it  I despair of that boy!

Bottle Bank Walk of Shame completed. YS goodies purchased for dinner, I love that my local coop discounts "today's" items at 8.30am. Sirloin steak for £2.pennies? Go on then :D

Kitchen wiped down, will get to the floor later.

WM x1 on, x2 ready and just about to strip the girls beds to make x3.

ONE WHOLE BINBAG of stuff picked up from the girls floor already, and that's just from the centre, I haven't started guddling around behind the beds etc yet.

Kettle has boiled so I'm pouring then cracking on.

Coping vibes for everyone with a busy week. Mine's looking pretty horrendous.

Bossy, I hope your eye is better today. And (((hugs))).

I'm not feeling 100% positive about the June Challenge, but nothing's a complete failure yet.

The smelly room is not niff free. I'm gutted.
    Better is good enough.

    Morning!

So after creeping back in a couple of weeks ago I promptly disappeared. Mum ended up in hospital with gall bladder trouble....

Thankfully she is back at home now. Hopefully life will get a bit more settled....

All the fuss about mum means I have really taken my eye off the ball - the house is a pit. I will be flying, but off list - I have to attack the ironing pile and sort out the piles of clothing randomly dumped around the house.

I am also worrying because it is the Midnight Walk for the hospice bthis weekend - I am so behind with my 'training'.

    fingers crossed!

    I WILL report back later...
    :jFlylady and proud of it:j

Hello CY, glad mum is on the mend.

Well busy morning so far, I was trying not to do noisy jobs that would stop me hearing a delivery, but have just had a text to say it won't be here till after noon, so I am going to cut the grass and walk the dogs next. That will leave hoovering/mopping and cake making and then list.

Once I've cut the grass I can actually begin to enjoy the fruits of my labour in the garden for the last three months as all the major stuff is done, just need to keep on top of weeding and wait for my veg to grow.

Glad your mum is getting well again CY :)

    I've been a busy bunny..

I have photographed my 3 years olds nursery paintings and BINNED THE ORIGINALS!!!! ... I now want to go raid the bin and pull out 2 to add to a scrapbook.. *resist*resist*resist*

I also filled a binbag of utter rubbish.. my knitting corner looks so much nicer!! It is visible for a start. I have some wools which I want to get in my cupboard so I can see my current projects and get a few finished. The blanket is on schedule to be finished on Wednesday so I hope to hand that over on Friday after a quick wash and shape.

Recycling out, I made OH bin 4 empty beer bottles he wanted to keep.. they weren't even all that to look at. I sorted a box of stuff to CS and.... changed the broken phone cover for the new one I bought at the same time.. my phone is now purple instead of pink... I will NEVER be able to find it lol.

I will have this room clean and tidy before today is out.. just stopped for a cuppa and to share my joy with you!

OH's dad is coming Thursday, we have a huge box of Happyland for them to take back, and then we are having Spams Birthday do here on Sunday and I have people in the house on Friday so I want the downstairs presentable.. I have people coming to my house who have never been before.. one is taking home a LOT of stuff!! She is having all the rabbit stuff and a binbag of baby girl clothes.

DD1 is having the Basket and car seat for her new addition so I need to drop those round when her OH is out :p He moans, but it is stuff they will need.

Good morning all  especially CY - glad your mum's on the mend now.

Thank you Natty for last week's lists and Dusty for starting us off this week, also Bossy for keeping an eye on the June challenges.

I shall be trying to cram 5 days' worth of flying, plus everything that I didn't get round to doing last week, into 2 days this week.

I am at my occasional voluntary job this morning, but once again no clients have turned up, and I am on my own: wish I didn't have to be here :( I started work at home at 6.00 am and brought my work here to finish off. It was only laminating and cutting out resources for our new course, but I have a deadline to meet (get it in the post before 5.00 pm!!!). My time here has been spent profitably, and I've saved a bit on my own leccy bill too :money: I've done as much as I can for now - found a couple of things that need changing before I laminate - but it means that I have 2 hours' less work to do this afternoon :D Meanwhile DH is out on a canal walk with a U3A group, so he won't be messing up the house :rotfl: and I'm out again this evening with the Old Wives, visiting a rather lovely cottage garden :)

So this week I have to
    - finish and post the resources for Units 1 and 2
    - finish updating the notes for Units 3 and 4
    - clear my desk and other hotspots
    - clean the house from top to bottom
    - do all washing up to date [STRIKE]WMx1 will be ready to peg out when I get home[/STRIKE] done, and WMx2 is started
    - HHI
    - weed all the borders
    - get DH to mow the lawn again because he does it sooooooo well :T
    - plant out all those things that I have been trying to plant out for the past month :(
    - pack for long weekend away :DValli, we shall be passing through your part of the world on Thursday :hello:

I have been trying very hard this week to stick to my SW plan, and will see how I've done at weigh-in tomorrow. Doubt that I will achieve 5 lb off in June though :o especially with the likelihood of ice creams and at least one cream tea on holiday  but after all, what's a holiday without ice cream?

Only half an hour before I can pack up and go home... I reckon the number of smilies I use is in direct proportion to the time available!

Morning everyone, thank you Dusty for this weeks list, and Bossy for keeping the June Challenge going.. Can we also have one for July etc... :p

Have DH home this week and already he is like the proverbial fly in the ointment..getting under my feet even though I have done nothing yet... I now feel like I should be fully dressed and running around doing stuff, even though I don't want to. So I have to have a shower and get dressed before I do anything anyway.. I am so glad it's kitchen today, I need to do the surface stuff in mine, and a deep clean of something - not sure what, might be my cutlery drawer as I am getting really annoyed with it lately..lol I also need to hoover the house from top to bottom as we have someone staying over Wednesday evening.. Oooh that reminds me I need to wash the bedding that's on the spare bed..will do that before my shower :D

Bossy hope your eye is starting to feel okay now..

Piggers meant to say in the last thread that your blanket is gorgeous and the teacher will love it.. I also adore the cupboard, so sparkly :D How do you find the time to do these things with your brood, I'm amazed :rotfl:

Glad your mum is improving CY, does that mean we will see you a bit more in here now :p

Unfortunately Bossy I didn't keep to my first week of the challenge unfortunately, I missed a couple of days :(

lol.. I knock off at bed time.. if no one else does anything neither do I..so I have from 8pm until I go to bed to do my own thing. I might put washers on or DW or TD and do bins/recycling but that is all. I've always had that rule!

The cupboard took 9 months!! haha I have a shelf unit for the kitchen to paint too.. I've had that since November!

Ionafan, a holiday without ice cream is like a gin and tonic without the ice-and-a-slice! And I wonder why it is I need to shed a few lbs :o

Girls room emptied, another half binbag of carp picked up, DSD has until Friday morning to get them emptied and away or they're going in the Biffa. I have stripped DSS's bed as well as the girls, and vacuumed his mattress and down the side of his bed too. All the windows are flung wide and I'm hoping that with fresh bedding and fresh air it won't smell like something has died in his corner now :rotfl:

Pulled all the storage boxes out from under my boys bunks and vacuumed under there, it was dust bunny central. I've piled up all the loose junk I've found and they can sort and tidy when they get home.
Washing has been juggled, my ironing pile is obscene yet again :( I'll leave that until the boys are home.

I am now going to get ruthless and bin a load of my shoes, my feet have shrunk :( so all the sixes I have are too big now. So many pretties but they're just taking up space.

All bins emptied, recycling and composting put out, grass cut, dogs walked, 2 washloads on the line and house hoovered through. And would you believe the delivery arrived at exactly noon...Just having a quick lunch, will then make a cake, wash up and mop the floors, then list.....
