The type of cable (according to Nokia) you need for your phone is a DKU-5 data cable.
You can choose between a "compatible" data cable, or an original nokia cable. I myself have a "compatible" data cable (DKU-5 same as what you need) and have had no problems with it.
If you view this MSN (Kelkoo) mobile accessories search (ignore the first entry as for some unknown reason it shows the wrong cable type), you'll see that a company called DataKits have one for £9.98. I've not ordered from them so I can't be sure what they are like, etc.
Alternatively, DirectMobileAccessories have one for £9.89 (was £12.89). I have ordered from these without any problems.
I've never ordered anything from accessoriesdirect so I can't really comment on what they are like, etc.
The cheapest original Nokia cable I managed to find is £23.80 from BlueUnplugged.com. I've ordered also ordered from these before without any problems.
UPDATE: DirectMobileAccessories have got the cable for £9.89 making them the cheapest I've seen for a "compatible" cable although according to the MSN search it's still £12.89. This I suspect is due to DirectMobileAccessories having only just lowered the cost of the cable and haven't informed MSN (Kelkoo) search yet!0 -
Seconded - although being a cheapskate ebayaholic, I got my compatible cable for £6 delivered.... works a treat! There are 10 types of people in the world, those that understand binary and those that don't
In many cases it helps if you say where you are - someone with local knowledge might be able to give local specifics rather than general advice0 -
I got mine from ebay , also came with a disc with ringtones etc.
At first mine wouldn`t work so I downloaded the latest version of Nokia PC suite from the nokia website (free) and it works now.
PaulOn the internet you can be anything you want. It`s strange so many people choose to be rude and stupid.0
