Not really, there are plenty of permanent SPECS sites around the country.

I go through those a lot, they never got taken down after the roadworks completed 2/3 years ago.

Still don't work on bikes though*; well not unless they have new cameras which have eyes in the back of their heads or are or rear facing like on certain high accident biking roads.

The biggest annoyance is still when people drive through these sections and completely loose the ability to follow any kind of lane discipline. 47mph in the outside lane when the 2 inner lanes are empty...see it all the time.

*although of course riding like a nutter through them is very much a quick way of becoming an entry in the Darwin awards
