Tesco Bundle: Broadband and Home phone?

I've just tried to pursue the Tesco deal for line rental, unlimited broadband, evening and weekend calls (£15.90 per mnth).

You can view this deal through...Utilities and phones > cheap home phone deals> cheapest home phone and broadband.

However, I've been told by a Tesco sales adviser that the advertisement is wrong and this deal is not on offer.

Can anyone shed any light on this or had success with this deal?

It is on Tesco's website.


However, the adviser may mean that it's not available at your exchange, due to their having used their allocated capacity. When I was interested, last year, I could have broadband or phone but not both (found out by using the availability link on their site). This changed, a week later, to fully available, then back to one only.

Some tesco deals are only available to customers within the Tesco broadband area which means that it is not available everywhere - you have to check this on their website with the postcode checker.

If C&W have an LLU presence on your exchange then you'll be able to get that deal.

When I check tesco it informs me I'm outside their area, this is confirmed using SamKnows which shows no C&W LLU presence on my local exchange.
