Sorry, got off into a daydream about my garden with you talking about yours :o:D

Have a good day. 53 hours is NOT a good number of hours to be doing anything other than sleeping.

uterly mental yes working this much but one off sick/on holiday too its just nuts.

    :D

car insurance haggled and got down to 140 which is a cheap as I can find it elsewhere so I went with it.

'tother car booked into garage on friday - day off so can't even go anywhere either :) woo hoo

    :D

Lunch today was something unsatisfactory like a cup of soup as I left mine on the kitchen table.

You can lead a horse to water but......

  • Ooh, I reckon you should take the second half of April off - that's when all the best people have their birthdays :D Sadly it looks like I might have to work on mine this year - first time in donkeys years! NOT good.

My garden is ludicrously neglected but I did put some bark chips in the bed outside the kitchen window recently so it doesn't look as bad as it could :D Must get out and do the front at some point - suspect more bark chips :D :rotfl: This is my (outdoor) strategy for selling the house - bark chip-arama :D

Hmm, must also think about what to do with old falling-apart home-made compost bin that's right next to the path as you walk to the front door... Really is the best place for it (really!) but it does look a bit unsightly... Might have to donate compost to community garden and resort to throwing away while we sell  Not sure I can do that!

Can you top dress the beds with the compost? And yes get rid of compost bin anything that helps sell the house.

They do a three for two on bark chips often in that large D&Q store watch out for deals so do Mr T and they will deliver.

Bark chip arama is what sold this house - that and three tonne of blasted gravel which I do believe I moved before you arrived.

And agree hours sleepign much better than hours working, think April second half shall be mine.

In fact I might email them now.

Oh I'll use the stuff that's actually *composted* - suspect spreading uncomposted teabags and banananana peel round the garden won't put people off though :D :rotfl: :D

Glad you've had a slightly calmer day! :kisses3:

Exactly and send the rest to the compost skip at the local CA site and they'll do the lot for you nicely.

Been an odd kind of day. One off sick, volunteers a bit moany, late, grumpy and sometimes rude, to be honest I almost gave up - I did actually at one point say if I was getting free board and lodgings for 5 hours work a day (excluding generous t breaks and a lovely boss) / 2 days off a week.

    All laundry

    All internet etc

And fed on days off. And often lifts to things.

I'm sure I wouldn't be so grumblly about doing a bit of work for my supper. Some of them are with us for months. All free. OK so they work, with me, bonus, but its not exactly hard. I do make sure the hardest things I do when they've gone.

    Maybe I'm just old fashioned.

So its been a bit of a *deep sigh* kind of a day.

I mean dont' they know other people actually PAY for me teaching them. LOL>

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Maybe their tea allowances and cakes need reduced. And yes I also bake for them.

Less cake more gruel I say. :P
