ooooo Pips - get that shiny HALO on you! - :D

I can skip flylady today! - My sock drawer is not yet assembled - chest of drawers still in flatpack! - sock bin (still in packing box which has actually been opened) is already neat & tidy though I must admit there may be a few pairs I should part with!

**Whispers** - Do I have to turn in my superhero cape now that I've admitted to not yet putting together the drawers?!? - Only been 3 months since we moved!

I moved over a year ago and I have to say most of what's under the bed is 'moving' boxes. :rotfl::rotfl:

    **hands fly lady halo back***

    :D

    Productive day.

DS has found a flat woop woop under his budget ;)

Making pasta sauce from garden stuff (vegetables you understand NOT soil)

Something good happenned today and I forget what it was.

    :rotfl:

Hope you've all had a good day.

Starnac, yes I am thinking of that, just need to increase my plants and get use to the garden here.

    xx Excellent idea!

  • Oh I thought I had bought some reduced prawns for the pasta sauce and turns out they forgot to charge me only charged for milk and bread. Took them back in and they gave me them free for being so honest.

    :D

Unlikely to ever happen again but awesome even so.

Total spends on stuff £2.89 + free prawns.

Aw Pippi, you're so lovely taking those prawns back :D :j :j for getting them for free, and for DS finding a flat under budget :money:

Never mind the sock drawer - I'm resorting to a flylady 'crisis clean' - 15 mins each in kitchen, living room (or in my case bedroom) and bathroom - the idea is you pretend your scary mother in law is on the way and you just stash everything as quickly as possible :rotfl: She doesn't advocate doing this except in a dire emergency, but quite frankly my house right now IS in a state of dire emergency  :rotfl: :D
  • Love this cheery!! Good luck!!

I might join you soon the kitchen is still upside down from the weekend although the sink is clean lol

we managed to scare up some dinner using up some left over salady stuff (Kisir) from yesterday & bbq chicken thighs (yes out in the rain - across the pond training - rain is just wet snow I keep telling myself) - OH has a bottle of wine open (dessert) & I have a cuppa herb tea - that's us done

Yeah to sticking to your morals & getting free prawns out of it - ***picks up & hands halo back***

  • First off lets see our mission.

    Dear Friends:

Today is the day that you get a really short mission. The only thing you have to do is grab your feather duster or dust rag and dust off the tops of your door jambs and windows. Take the duster or rag and wipe across the tops of the molding and jambs. Take a swipe across the hinges as well; they seem to collect little dusties as well. This is quick and easy and makes quite a nice difference.

  • RT I managed to badly clean the living room window last night, so bad is it that it looks smeary and foggy outside like a peasouper form the war.

:D I think perhaps be a while before I get that halo :P

PS WHen you do folks STOP bbqing??

Evil swag bucks indeed! Hope the grub was scrummy.

    Later I plan to
    Work for 6 hours garden
    Work one hour womble
Go to the big smoke and see DD drop off some bits/have tea
Walk dogs, might take them to work
    Banks
    CC's
Check emails on work free wifi on pad, save phone stuff
HM meals, DH tea already in fridge.
Freeze meals from yesterday all packed up as lunches already
Pick more garden veg and freeze

Hmm not much today but a pretty full on day of work then driving etc.

Have a great one if I don't get back on the now.
