Are you going to Glendross for the interview?

Aye lady I did - Bankhead to be accurate. What a huge place!!

I think it went OK but I'm not as current as probably I could have been with legislation etc. But, did say I'd happily be trained.

    :D

I came out thinking wow those are smart folks! I think its been good to get the brain cells going again but its also shown me how technical my current post is, even if not permanent. So maybe I need to think about something more challenging in that if this doesn't prove to be successful.

I find out on Tues, I'm not that hopeful, but we'll see. I gave some good answers, but also some honest ones when I really didn't know stuff, didn't see any point in trying to make anything up.

Liked them, interesting work but scary hard.

    Thanks guys.

Hey Pippi - all the best for tomorrow. Hope that it is everything that you need it to be..............

    Greying x

Thanks Greying - interesting all this sciency stuff. If a bit scary.

If I get offered it, I'm going to give it a go and see what I think of it. Might be interesting to see how I adapt to office work.

If I don't get offered it, I'll be happy enough to push for something more technical in my 'tother field'.

Hope you had a nice weekend. We adventured up to Applecross and Moray over the weekend.

Skye was out in full glory.

Well done for giving honest answers in your interview. You can usually tell when people are trying to blag it! And at least if you don't get it, it has shown you what you want out of your other job. I've still got my fingers crossed you get it though ;)

Your weekend sounds lovely. Ours was pretty quiet. Plans were mostly rained off but that was a good thing in a way that it gave me and kiddies some time to just relax after a busy week.

What are your plans for today?

Hey starnac just in from work and then straight to a work meeting for wombles.

I'm doing an hour everyday of the other job so I'm starting a bit later.

Off to check banks and stuff.

Ordered oil through boilerjuice at 35p/pl

This months extra work has gone to pay for the oil, I'm happy about that.

Well as happy as you ever could be. This winters central heating has been indirectly powered by snowdrops.

    PS very soggy here.

Last weeks wages are in so I've paid that to the oil fund.

:) now skint again but sure to be warm in winter.

Banks updated and need to do a fridge audit.

    And a meal plan.

    Yikes.

Could you not get a grant for that and start up a company? Sure it'd be a boon as a *green* fuel....... Boom Boom! :rotfl:

You're sounding bonny and chipper, which is good :D

    morning starshines.

Thank you for laughing at my weird humour.

Man the fridge and freezer last night had an overhaul. The chaps scored some 38p stew for tea already cooked with voluvents left by Aunty Wik as 'mini steak pies' and some taiters.

They told me it was lush.

Bargains snagged at local coup lots of bread at 20p, bananas at 19p lettuce for 20 for the hens, I'm guessing someone went crazy with the reduced gun. Its not normally so good.

Also swung by the ironmungers and he had left out a heap of pallets and used wood, so had the wrong car, had to go home and get the kangaroo to fill it up with more wood. Meant 10 extra miles but the quantity of wood was worth it. DS helped splendidly. He's a good lad.

    All good.

Today is another day powered by flowers.

Did two hours of womble work yesterday and 6 of flowerywork.

    Probably similar today.

Seems the forecast rain hasn't appeared.

    Wowser.
