    Morning Pips!

Good to 'see' you! Sorry to hear you've been under the weather - but glad to hear you've had company!!!

Be a love & pop on the kettle - I'm dying for a cuppa - I'll bring what remains of the red-stickered apple-berry crumble - a bit tart but will have to do!

I'll join you in the recuperation bit - have hurt my back lugging around files & a laptop - so am working from home today propped up with cushions.

OH's given me the lecture about working to live not living to work - sigh - and then he packed himself off to the office in a grump - SIGH

  • Puts kettle on.

Plumps a cushion and sorts out a bit of the blanket for you.

    Poor pet.

I'm on the mend, and will be mending further in the land of tartiflette very soon.

It is however ironic that its cheaper to go away for pennies abroad than to stay in Scotland.

    Evening all!

Sorry to hear you're poorly Pips, hope you'll be better soon - and you too RT! Still a nice trip away sounds like a good rest-cure.

I have actually sown some seeds outside today, not a load but have to take it in stages right? Some of the chilli seeds I sowed last week are up, I tried 5 or 6 varieties so if they all grow my windowsills will be full!

Thanks Trog - a day without walking or carrying sees to have let the muscles relax - will have to start up the pilates again and build up some decent core strength!

I've got a rescued (red-stickered of course) chili plant on the windowsill - produces so many chilis that I've been giving them away - a work-mate's wife decided she was going to pickle them! - so every few weeks she gets a small handful - turns out we only use at most one a week so much better to pick as needed than buy a whole package from the grocers! One of the best 50p purchases I've made in a long time!

RT you know they live for several years? I didn't know this and used to throw them out at the end of the year but now I have 2 plants that are just starting their 4th year.
