Waves to Trog and thank you will change later
you're a good un.
Hope you're well you sound really great as for the pesky garden gastropods (or whatever thier posh name is) well done you. So lovely that you've popped in.
Starnac, of course it had to match! Just looking at photos I still think it looked very silly indeed the whole thing (aside the food cos obviously having the tame chef there it was lush) and the rainbow napkins of course genius
PS the guitar, erm, sounds quite like the rest of them. Shh don't say.
Weekend plans involve tidying up and then himself's off on Monday so we're heading away on an adventure later for a night then home and some chill time.
In the mean time I'd best get tidied up.
Thanks for all the lovely anniversary reminders.
Have a great weekend you lovely lot.
Waves to all.
No toddy's for me, I'm still doing 'Stoptober' so I'll stick to my winter punch which is lush.
Have a lovely autumnal weekend. xxTotal debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

*snort* :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: - the poor lad, he'd probably be able to explain every nuance in timbre, every gradation of chord, every degree of clarity..... if you'd just let him..... :rotfl::rotfl:
*waves* to Pips - hope you have a wonderful *nearly 1st Anniversary* celebration together. And I think that it was quite the best splicing of wellyboots I've ever seen. I especially liked that in every photo with folk in it - they were grinning not just smiling - grinning. And that it became a celebration of talents. Everyone that knows you and loves you, did a *little something*, which you and TRG orchestrated into a whole.
Marvellous

Oh Greying, I learnt very quickly *not to ask*
you lose days, nay weeks.
Without you all and your kind words, where would I be.
Thank you all.
As promised a wee year review next week.
In the meantime, I'll leave you with......this.
And you can all sing along.
BILLY CONNOLLY
The Welly Song Lyrics
If it wisnae fur yer wellys where wid ye be
you'd be in the hospital or infirmary
cause you'd have a dose ae the flu or even plurisee
if ye didnae have your feet in your wellys.
wellys they are wonderful
wellys they are swell cause they keep out the water
and they keep in the smell.
and when yur sittin' in a room
you can always tell when some !!!!!! takes aff his wellys.
If it wisnae fur yer wellys where wid ye be
you'd be in the hospital or infirmary
cause you'd have a dose ae the flu or even plurisee
if ye didnae have your feet in your wellys.
Or when your out walkin' in the country wae a bird
and your strollin' over fields just like a farmers herd
and somebody shouts keep aff the grass
and you think how obsurd
and Squelch you find why farmers all wear wellys
If it wisnae fur yer wellys where wid ye be
you'd be in the hospital or infirmary
cause you'd have a dose ae the flu or even plurisee
if ye didnae have your feet in your wellys.
theres fishermen and firemen theres farmers an all
men out diggin' ditches and workin' in the snow
this country it wid grind to a halt and no a thing wid grow
if it wisnae fur the workers in their wellys.
If it wisnae fur yer wellys where wid ye be
you'd be in the hospital or infirmary
cause you'd have a dose ae the flu or even plurisee
if ye didnae have your feet in your wellys.
now Edward Heath and wilson
they hivnae made a hit
they are ruinin' this country
mare than just a bit
if they keep on the way their goin'
we'll all be in the !!!!!!
so you better git your feet in your wellys.
If it wisnae fur yer wellys where wid ye be
you'd be in the hospital or infirmary
cause you'd have a dose ae the flu or even plurisee
if ye didnae have your feet in your wellys.

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Fantastic!
I watched Billy Connolly on iplayer yesterday, on Who Do You Think You Are - he was really chuffed to find out that one of his great great great grandmothers was Indian (I forget how many greats, but it was only in the middle of the 19th century, not that long ago!).
Hope your nearly-anniversary is going beautifully2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
