    Astonishing!

Did you see the woman who claimed she had left the place 'like a palace', but when they went in with the cameras it was absolutely filty. I've never seen anything like it.

If I knew how to put one of those disembodied heads in this post I would! The one that says EEK!

A palace with a great big hole in the ceiling!

Loved the woman who left their house a tip and used the excuse i dont have thumbs just four fingers - how does that explain dog turd in her childs bedroom??

For people that were struggling to make ends meet they left a lot of stuff when they moved - can they afford new tvs, new sofas etc for their new homes? Most people take those things with them.

Are you all having fun sneering at people less fortunate than yourselves?

The way I saw it, was how can people create and live in such mess?

Does having less money mean they are unable to clean up their own mess, fill the bin then empty it, or keep their own living space clean/tidy? I didn't think so.

It was horrifying to see that poor child living in a bedroom covered in faeces all over the floor amongst other rubbish.

I think you are missing the point here. Did you see the programme? We are not sneering at people who are less fortunate, just shocked that people can deliberately live in a home they don't bother to clean, and when they leave describe it as 'a palace'.

Yes, the suggestion was that the woman had deliberately done this damage because she was being evicted.

I felt sorry for the neighbour who had had to put up with wild teenage parties (including graphic detail about all the vomiting) hosted by this woman, who was middle-aged and old enough to know better.

I think its a great idea that there are agents who specialise in rentals for those on housing benefit as they are hard to come by and the local authorities don't have enough houses.
However not all people on benefits live like that, cleanliness costs nothing
If i knew the answers to all the questions i wouldn't be on here :p

Sorry but they may be less fortunate on the job/wealth front but I really don't see why that is an excuse to live the way some of them do and destroy things other people have worked so hard to earn.
I was taught to work for what I want and respect other people's belongings. I know some people on housing benefits for one reason or another and they are in private rents and they appreciate and look after the property. But some of the people on this programme seem to think it's a given that they can damage people's property and not pay rent (even when they are being paid housing benefits....fraud or theft surely?)
They councils don't stand for it (damage council property and fail to pay rent and they can ban you from living in council properties) so why should people who have worked hard for what they have for someone to come and destroy it?
Bet if it was your property it would be a different matter!
