  • I have the hundred free on two accounts but not on a third (only recently started selling on that one, so maybe that has something to do with it?)

I didn't receive any email, but I do have the 100 free listings:

Once logged in and looking at the 'My eBay' screen, click "All selling" on the left of the screen...

When the next screen opens, scroll down to the bottom of the page and under "Promotional Offers"...

You should see an entry, " £0 insertion fees for auction-style or fixed price listings.", with "Used: 0, Active: 100, Status: Active"

If you see this, congratulations, you've got 100 free listings to play with! :)

Thank you, I've been all over the place trying to find it!

Got excited about this until I then saw this thread about the 180 day paypal dispute extension:

I'm now wondering if it is worth doing it anymore?

I think we need to really think about whether we should be panicking about the 180 days or not and put it into perspective. There has always been a 180 day window for INR charged back through a card and that is why sellers are recommended to keep all POPs for 180 days. All this does is extend the claim period for a SNAD - and if buyers become aware of this and use it we sellers still can argue their case. It you look at the community boards there has been some suggestion that a buyer would need a completely watertight warranty type claim to win an SNAD after so long.

If you get a long of SNAD then maybe rethink entirely, personally I get virtually none (touch wood) so am not going to worry too much.

Wondered why all the items from "private" sellers I haven't seen for a few weeks have appeared again.

I have never had a SNAD luckily but I AM a worrier and don't think my stress levels could stand a six month wait following every sale :)

Think I'm going to become an ebay 'lurker' for a while and see how it goes - trouble is it will take at least 6 months to see any results and the possibility of losing out on Xmas sales ...........

    Swings and roundabouts, I know

These FLE do show me one thing,I can't always judge what sells and what doesn't !

I had a whole pile of things and sorted them into stuff to car boot and stuff to list, had a bit of extra time so decided to list some from the car boot pile- and that is all the stuff with bids on it already.

I might as well give up pretending I know what I am doing :rotfl:

Hi, used up around 8 of my 20 free listings prior to the free weekend and added around 23 new items on Sunday, yet today I'm being charged for trying to list an item. Do Ebay use up the remaining 20 before the free 100 kicks in?

No they don't, I checked mine.

Go and look at your specific offers, click on the 'all selling' link in left hand margin, wait a while for it to load and at the end it will show how many listings you have remaining. If it shows you haven't used all your 20 up then you may well have accidentally clicked on a second category pr such like. If for any reason you have miscalculated at least you will know.
