Free listings are immaterial if the sales aren't there. Our Amazon sales are massively beating Ebay's something that wasn't possible a year or two ago.
I've got a top rated item in a couple of categories, top search, best price, etc, one remains top item despite us only having sold 2 in the last week, the highs have been 25-30 per week for the same item.
There's no reason for me to ditch Ebay just yet but it's heading that way.
The Google search issue seems to be the biggest factor and very little information available about it.

I agree, sales are so up and down at the moment that being able to add more stock and try out a few new things from my stock pile might just help. My sales are very erratic, dozens over the weekend and now only one today.

I am rapidly beginning to believe in the various conspiracy theories, I have some spare tin foil here and I can budge up on the stair to make room for you as well if you like.

There's definitely something going on though. I had a MVL listed for about 8 weeks with not a single sale , then one day last week in the space of 70 minutes I sold three, and haven't sold another one since.

Just had my first sale since Monday on one account. BINs are slow, but auctions seem fine.

Noticed ebays share price has dropped in the past couple of days from $50 to $48. Surely the shareholders will start to ask questions soon ?
