Bad advice! Don't send a PDF!!
If it's going to an agency they need it in an editable format!
They copy and paste the data from the CV into their client database to match you with jobs and clients.
Most if not all agencies reject it automatically if it's not in a txt/rtf/doc/docx format.
Keep PDF version of your CV for sending direct to an Employer. (thought even then some of them tend to reject them and want a doc version.) >_<
Then they need to be told that .doc is NOT a suitable presentation format, actually it's pretty unsuitable for anything, .otf is only slightly better, it's not really the format that's the problem, it's word processors in general.
Word processors aren't suitable for a CV anyway since you can't do layouts properly with them.
They actually only need it in an editable format to remove your contact details from it to stop the employer from contacting you directly.
Make a copy of your CV with no contact details on it to send to them and insist on it being in PDF.You can copy and paste from an .pdf. I wouldn't be happy sending anything that could be altered after it left me.
Yes, the other point is, it's not the type of document that you want to send to anyone in an editable format.
If you want to prevent copy and pasting you can also save it as an image in the PDF.0
