Agreed , but I guess it could be done slowly over time , starting with maybe one major highway. As time passed, technology would move on and make the implementation cheaper and more commonplace. Lets face it, who 50 years ago would have thought the ordinary person in threequarters of the world , would have their own personal computer?

True, technology will advance and this may well be the way of the future to address our energy needs. However if the technology is currently too expensive what is the point of installing even one of these panels? If it doesn't make its cost back before it needs to be replaced then it's a non-starter really.

If it was economically viable I imagine we'd all have solar panels on our roofs. I know a lot of people do but it still takes years to get the investment back which means they're not that popular.

I'm at work now so can't watch the counter video, I look forward to seeing it when I get home tonight.

Hasnt stopped us installing wind turbines has it! I think they will be looked back on as the biggest non cost effective structures of our era.

ok, I can understand that it can be dodgy opening links these days, but the video is self explanatory and you would immediately see the link between the ideas, and investing and savings.
That's not the point. It's helpful to give a brief idea of what a video is about so that readers can read in 5 seconds whether it's worth wasting 5 or 10 minutes of their time watching something of no interest. If I did that with every video, I'd be doing nothing else all day.

NB I still don't know what it's about, but I have a few clues after the last few posts ;-)

    so what?

And I'm not down with that, for the same reason I don't click sponsored ads in Google results.

Point taken. I accept that would have been a good idea looking back on it. Ill do that if everI post a video again .

Well I did my best -- I thought most people would get the general idea of what the video was about, after reading my post 8 . How should I have worded the synopsis to enable folk to understand the basics of the video?
