Landline and broadband - same provider?

Hi all quick question.

I'm currently with Talk Talk but out of contract. I'm on the essentials package, but don't want to upgrade to get the TV deal. I currently have my landline with them and have paid for the year (expires Jan 2015).

Can I get my broadband from another provider if I have my landline with Talk Talk? I know that they have a great broadband only deal at the moment, just wondering what my options are.

Welcome any feedback.

Thanks.

Ok thanks, thought this might be the case. I think I'll drop to Talk Talk's simply broadband deal or stick on the £8.50 essentials package until my line rental contract expires.

    Thanks again.

Remember that once you are passed the initial term you are usually on a 30 day rolling contract.

Most LLU operators tie you in to a combined BB and Talk contract.
Although choice is getting limited, Sky is the only other major player that comes to mind, aside from Plusnet which is a BT company.
