Hello
We are off to a wedding next month, it's our 1st holiday abroad with a 10month old...I'm not looking forward to a long haul flight with her!
Anyway, it's getting quite expensive and I have just been made redundant so the final thing to book I am looking to try to save any pennies.
Does anyone have an offer code or advice to get a good deal? We are staying just shy of 200miles from the airport (Charlotte Douglas international NC) so I think over the course of the holiday we will do around 500miles in 10 days
We will also need a sat nav
Thank you in advance!

Look on the car hire/rental forum thread of FlyerTalk.com for US Car Rental codes. However, they are few and far between and they are normally codes for corporate use (CDP codes) but can be used by individuals too usually. They may also have other promotional codes (PC) if you are lucky. To be honest you will generally be getting a better rates via the trawler sites.
Do not get a Sat Nav as part of the rental. Either buy on Ebay before you go. Or otherwise get a basic GPS as they are called in the US from a Walmart or similar when you arrive. You can then sell on Ebay when you return if you have no further use. The cost via the rental company will be more than the cost of buying even for a week.0 -
