    Hi all,
I have been busy budgeting and I am excited to see that my plans can resume (all being well) once holiday payments are sorted. :T
Praying no big bills come up now.

I have been busy looking a menu planning and old posts on feeding the family on a budget. It is awful when you realise how much money is wasted on the food bill!!
This week I have managed to feed us (2 adults 2 children) and do 2 meals for my mom with a shopping bill of £25.75. I did have some stock in the freezer and cupboards so overall it would have cost more but I am pleased with the start I have made. Quite shocking as I usually spend in the region of £100 a week!!!
Goes to show I can be making quite a dent on the holiday and mortgage with the savings.
Also, have been ebaying over the last 2 weeks and although I have not calculated the exact figures I have made approx £30. Not loads but better than nothing and even better knowing there is less clutter in the house!
  • Great job thats a great reduction :]

    Keep up the good work

Well it has certainly been a while since I posted!!!
Since I was last on I have moved house and been on holiday too.
Therefore my plans and figures have changed!
    New house value approx £160,000
Mortgage outstanding is approx £109,100 (I have already made an O/P of £500)
Will update signature when I can and start trying to get the mortgage down below £100,000
