    Hi all,
Just been spending the evenings looking through other diaries and have been once again inspired to list items on eb@y. So far about 12 items listed - i forget who it is but someone on here has listed 50 items very recently so i need to keep going and find pennies hiding in my junk.....the house could still do with a massive declutter but I am a self confessed hoarder for moneysaving purposes of course!!!
I always believe 'something will come in handy'. Of course it never does and hangs around for years so I do need to get on top of this!!!
Excited for next month which will see me below £86,000.
I have had some big spends lately and need to start paying for the rather inconvenient holiday I HAVE to go on...:wink:

    Morning all,
Well I have managed to sell a few items on eb@y and today I have made the grand total of £5!!! Well that minus eb@y charges! I have more listed though and need to add more so it will all add up I guess! I decided to go down the collection only route as a lot of the stuff is a nuisance to wrap and seeing as eb@y have put charges on postage as well combined with the hassle I thought this would be much easier despite the fact that I won't sell as easily....as long as i get something for the stuff! Plus I can make up joblots for the carboot buyers and so on.
Pay day and money shuffling will start next week again and it is getting oh so close to xmas:eek:

Managed to treat us to a nice M and S beef joint as I have managed to keep the grocery spends low this month and my Mother is coming for Sunday dinner this week. Lets hope I don't burn it!!!

    Hiya
Overpayment has gone, therefore I shall hang around the letter box waiting patiently for the next reduction letter!!!
Having loads of nuisance buyers on eb@y who cannot read!!! I have put most of my items COLLECTION ONLY in the title and I still get buyers who wait until the auction has ended, then get in touch to say' I did not realise'.....
So busier sorting those out! May have to relist everything with postage to get rid!

I've been a little like this with hoarding. But lately, my mindset is shifting along a little. We don't need all the "stuff" and it's slowly starting to leave the house. Sometimes it leaves and money comes in which is nice.

I agree. I have a pot which I am collecting the money in as well as my paypal account so that I can save it till it is a large amount. :money:

    Hi,
Today I received my over payment letter and I am now at £85784
with another month off the term of the mortgage! Would be nice to be below £85000 before the turn of the year but sadly that won't be possible:( Nevermind at least it is less than it should be overall.

My last payment has reduced the balance to £85563 although it will creep up slightly with interest. Happy though as my mortgage has been reduced by £4000 since Nov 13! Hoping that I can get more aggressive with it in the second half of 2015.

    Hi all,
Just looking over the year gone by and I have managed to reduce the term a little!:j
I am now entering the 2nd year of my fixed term so my plan now is to reduce the monthly amount as opposed to the term....never know if I might need it.
Whichever way the balance will be reduced.
Hope you are all more mortgage free as I am sure you are. Good luck for the year ahead!

Today, I called to change my preferences regarding over payments and will be changing it to a reduction of the monthly amount instead of the term. I feel I have done well so far reducing the term by over a year and although I could keep doing that for now I just feel that you never know what the future brings and future payments will be higher as a result of reducing he term. Therefore this is a just in case measure but will review again once the next fixed term is over.

Seems such a long time ago since I last posted! Well I have stopped my over payments for now until my holiday is paid. Can't believe January is over already and coooollllllldddd is really kicking in!
