They will either:
a) reply to say they are looking for it and will cease collection activiity until further notice.
b) ignore you
c) write to say they have closed your file and passed it on to some other mug.0 -
Hi all, quick update,
Robinson way has replied to my CCA request with a letter saying
"Following your request, we have today asked for a copy of the agreement/statement to verify you are liable to pay the amount due.
Your account has been placed on hold temporaily pending reciept of this documentation and we will contact you again in due course"
so....see what happens now0 -
Just thinking......should the cca be passed on with the debt when sold to Robinson? If not then what do these companies buy? If not the paperwork.0

Well, that confirms they have not got it and by the credit file it looks like the last lot did not have it.
As said expect a letter from another lot shortly.I do Contracts, all day every day.0 -
In the meantime, if you'd like to pay me the £5 per month until you get contacted by the next lot of fleecers.0

Quite often the original creditor will keep the paperwork and this may take a month or so to get.
Or, they may not have it.
Just cos its past 14 days doesn't mean its a gimme.
Wait and see
