easyJet Hold Luggage charges.

Hi,
Booked a flight via EJ to Moscow. When I try to add a hold bag up to 20kg, it automatically adds £37 as "price of changes" per flight.
On EJ's Fees and Charges page it says "Minimum & maximum hold luggage fee (bought online) (per item, per flight)*" in "GBP 11 to 21.
Does anyone know why the difference ?
Thanks

Is it adding £18.50 each way = £37?Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0

No, It appears to be adding £37 each way - Haven't actually added the bags yet.0

Are you trying to add luggage on easyJet's website or through a 3rd party? Have you already checked luggage included on the booking?0

Hi, All I have booked so far, is the flights there and back. No baggage, so far.
I'm on EJ's website - not via a third party. When I go into "manage your booking", I see the two flights, both with selectable options of "select seats", "Add hold items", "transfer to another flight" and "change a passenger name".
When I select, on the outbound flight, "Add hold items" the next screen is "hold luggage and sports equipment".
There is a drop-down list showing "20kg £37.00" and there is a graphic of a suitcase on scales with an orange label of "1 x Hold bag" and below in orange it says "Price of changes £37.00"
As I haven't yet clicked on the return flight, I assume it will charge me the same for this flight., too.0 -
My word, £40 return flights to Moscow! That is magnificent.
The test I did (from Manchester) says £19 per bag for a single, £38 for a return. As I haven't yet clicked on the return flight, I assume it will charge me the same for this flight
If you're taking a case out but not bringing a case back you could book two single flights to save £18.50. But their system quite reasonably expects you to return with the cases you took with you so prices that in.
Out of interest, how much is a visa? How long does it take to come through? How far is that airport from Moscow itself?0 -

The Easyjet website automatically adds luggage both ways, so the £37 is correct. 2 x £18.50.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
Aaahh, I see. It's £18.50 each way or £37 for a return.
Thanks so much for your clarification.
@ Peacefulwaters - the visa cost me £122.40 all in from http://www.gotorussia.co.uk/index.htm. This is a small agency, fairly local to me, and they seem to be perfectly efficient. They helped me fill in the application form and got my visa in 9 days.
The reason I say, "All in " is because you need a "visa invitation" which costs £30 or so, then there is the visa itself of £50 or so and consulate costs, plus agency fees, The agency sort all of that for you. There are agencies which appear to be cheaper, but I found that they don't quote the whole of the charges.
So that adds £122 to the cost of your holiday, but there's no way round it. Still, if you got the flights from EJ for (in my case) £70ish (+ £37 baggage !), you can't complain ! There is a little bit more bureaucracy, in that you have to register your arrival within 7 days, but it costs less than £10.
The arrival airport (Domodedovo) is, like all airports served by budget airlines, is well outside the centre (about 30 miles), but transport links to the centre seem to be easy and cheap.0
