B T and bundle packages

I need some advice on a contract i took out with BT in sept last year ! what enticed me to sign with them was their "free bt sports for 6 months deal " so i had broad band tv with free BT sports and land line with free weekend and eve call (how ever the free eve calls starts at 10pm ) i then was diagnosed with breast cancer and have spent a lot of the time in hospital , i discovered that the freeveiw channels were very limited and intermittent and defiantly no BT sport channel after BT sent a independent engineer to look at the problem it has come to light that my transmitter is week and i will never get BT sport or any free-view channels. So they agreed to payback the payment for the tv part of the contact but i have requested i cancel all the bundle so i can go to sky no they say you have a contract for the phone and broadband and they are working fine ! but i brought a bundle ?? i want a bundle with a new provider ! no it will cost you £300 to cancel your contact with us ! Then after looking at my now very high bills i have discovered they charged me £74.61 final payment for B T vision box and £10.55 fee to cancelling my tv contract early !!! WHAT you couldn't provide the service so there was no contract !! and now i spend hours being passed to and throw nobody cares or will talk to me !! what do i do ????? if i dont pay the bills i get cut off i just want a new provider that will give me what BT promised back in sept and have failed to do so help someone !!

It may be a bundle, but they are generally separate contracts: Check the T&C's.
You can't hold BT responsible for your lack of Freeview reception, assuming that you had aTV prior to sign up, surely you would have known that?

Maybe, maybe not. A TV only has one tuner, so can work with a weak signal. But a BT Vison/YouView box has two tuners, hence a stronger signal is required in low reception areas. But your right about the T&Cs.
