Short Term Contract Broadband & TV

Previous occupant had Virgin Media and there is also a BT point.

I need a short term contract to cover 8 to 12 weeks.

Any suggestions of what I can do or go?

Go mobile (3UK is cost effective if there's coverage). The cost of short term BB and a phone line will exceed this cost many times.

VM can offer 9 months minimum as their student rate - but better to try and take over the existing service with no change, then cancel with 30 days notice.

It's a 3G service, so you need a dongle. You have no wi-fi service to connect to.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
