    Had a lift in a Swift the other day and I thought the interior trim looked and felt cheap, rear seats hard and car noisy.

    Your buying a brand new car from a dealer, if it goes wrong you will take it back and they sort it out. No point in paying for Section 75 protection here, but up to you.

    Easy choice, buy a Jaguar XJ 2.7 diesel for £5k, put the rest in the bank to look after running costs and drive something enjoyable instead of two fridges taking up road space.
