I've just rediscovered those 3D pictures that were all the rage 20years ago!

Do you remember them?
Would you like to see one or two?
I don't want to just post them in case they're a trigger for anyone, particularly you, WaS!

You know, you have to relax your eyes and de-focus, and then suddenly the 3D effect begins and grows until you get the full effect!

If you want to see one, there's a nice gnome one I've found that isn't too hard, and then another harder one of an icy grotto.

But there are loads more, so I could post the link if that's preferable!

Ended up going home from work 2 hours early, i stupidly took some herbal sleeping tablets last night and they did not agree with me, had really disturbed sleep (i thought i was awake but i think i was dreaming :eek: ), and felt really sick all day. Oh and boots have fluffed up my prescription again, had to get a second emergency supply :mad: they said they should sort it by tomorrow hopefully, never had as much trouble before these electronic prescriptions.

Pyxis those pictures always used to infuriate me as i could never see them no matter how hard i tried!

The secret is to defocus as much as possible! Sometimes it's easier too if you take off your glasses and hold the picture a little nearer. Defocus and defocus until you're seeing double and then just relax into the defocus and let it happen. It will start happening and develop slowly. Don't worry if it goes, just defocus again.

Once you've done it once, it gets easier. Having said that, some pictures are easier than others.

well i'm pretty much blind as a bat without my glasses so that might help me de focus i want to try it now

Well, I won't post any here until I'm sure it's ok for WaS, but if you go to the Arms, to the The Way Our Brain Works thread, I've posted two there. Try the gnome one, it's easier.

I did that once! Years ago when I still did my own colour.


Mind you, not as bad as the time that I mixed up the eye drops bottle with the contact lens cleaning fluid bottle!

(Well, they looked very similar, plus my contacts were out, so I was in Colonel Blink mode!)
