Oh dear! Why was I given a bottle of Prosecco 2days ago? Am not supposed to drink wine. Alcohol, ok, wine, no, although I do allow myself the very, very occasional glass of Prosecco for special occasions.

But only one glass.

So, I opened the bottle. The idea was, I would drink a bit of it.

Two things spring to mind.

1. I have managed to turn the wi fi off on my computer several times - have you done this? You're probably not as stupid as me, but search all your keys for little signals that either tell you that you have switched airplane mode on (in which case turn it off and reboot) or that you have switched wi fi off.

Sadly that approach doesn't work on DH. If I could make myself look like his computer or football or work then maybe...

Speaking of the latter, I'm furious and I need you lot to tell me if I'm being unreasonable here. Yesterday I suggested to DH that we swap dog walking duties (usually I do mornings and he does evenings) as both our Christmas dos are today - mine was lunch, his this evening. He declined and said he'd go home and take him for a walk before he went out. So I took the dog out this morning, went to work and had a jolly old time at the lunch then we went to the pub where a miracle occurred and we found seats. So I texted to make sure that he had in fact walked the dog. He hadn't. So I've had to leave and go home to walk the dog. And I was having fun. I was charming. I was sparkling. Some drunk guy said I have lovely legs. I was having actual conversations with people. I may have even been flirting a bit. But only a bit.

Grrrr - I would be FURIOUS, cm. But hey, you have followed all the best practices by leaving them wanting more - sounds like the event was a tremendous success!

I am glad you have been having a flirty time. Everyone I dealt with today was the most relaxed I've seen them for months. And work is nearly over - hooray.

Glad it went well at work. Can you and DH take some time for a non heated chat? He probably gets stressed about all the lifestyle and social expectation stuff that impacts on you, and the health of you both too. Its WRONGWRONGWRONG. to let you and dog down. I'd be incandescent but ...I'd be measured in my discussion raising it and how I feel let down with that and demonstrative stuff etc. but I'd be saying it all...with a spoon full of sugar.

I'm glad I did check otherwise poor dog would have been alone in the house needing the toilet.
