It's things like this that you don't even think about :)
I'm hoping over time I get lots more of these texts :D

:T:T:T im so pleased she can hear something and unless it was Niagara falls:rotfl::rotfl: thats not a loud sound really so there is hope;):D

There's always hope..she said the doctor said it looks like she is beginning to pick up vibration noises but not voices which we were hoping .. She said she scratched her head and could hear something but couldn't put it together to realise that it was the scratching she could hear..if that makes sense .my sis has such determination I know she will make it work as much as she can :)

    [/QUOTE]

Must be so much to take in having not had sound before, can't even imagine what that must be like

Did you get the....you can't have that it's dangerous line :rotfl:

Yep, I got Emergency Product Recall. :rotfl:

I said yesterday it was my first ever major trouting, had to happen sooner or later with the amount of 1p things I have had over the years. ;)

Still can't believe the SA rifled my shopping bag after I had paid. And then I had to sheepishly follow her to Customer Services to rightfully reclaim what was mine.

Can anyone tell me the miserly way to hand over a house sale

as my son is buying the house so needs no surveys etc done

but do we need a solicitor or can we just do it ourselves at the land registry

    Any advice welcome

It depends on whether a mortgage is involved? I'm guessing not, if no surveys are required. And either way I'd definitely get a solicitor, even if it's an online one (which can be cheaper but will usually take longer as you can't physically go in and bug them to get on with things!). Better safe than sorry etc.

ETA: I'd recommend posting on the House Buying, Renting and Selling board if you have more questions, they're experts on there and really helpful :)

Ooh that's naughty of her:mad: I hate it when they make a big scene .. I had one pick it up shouting 1p item quick she has a 1 p item..everyone looked and I was so embarrassed but the manager said it was ok but to take the rest off the shelf ( whoops they were already in my car :) )

Big hug, put the kettle on it's all done and dusted now. :A

I had a taste of doing things on my own with my mum's bungalow as Mr TS left it all to me and while she was in hospice the next doors drains overflowed onto her drive, toilet paper the lot. Worst bit was it was not cleaned up properly after and I didn't see why I should do it.

The couple who lived next door had no interest, it was their property which they sold to and now rent from housing association who they expect to do absolutely everything for them.

Worst thing was they left it so long she told me later that nothing had been draining properly in the house for a while and they put it down to bad plumbing. Which I knew was a load of **** as my friend who is a plumber owned it before them.
