Horror films are lovely! I grew up with two TV channels (Channel three and Channel ten for the older posters -or ask your parents). They were saturated with western (I mean cowboy) TV programmes like Gunsmoke or Laramie or Bonanza or The High Chaparral. Scifi and horror programmes were much rarer and were a fantastic change from the dull routine. Have loved both genres ever since.

One of the things I like about this thread is that when you think you've posted a good choon, somebody always posts a better one, so you always learn!

Hiya bubbs and dippy. Enjoy your catch up without me ? :o

I walked DS to school then took tigercub to the park. On the way back, I saw a toddler group. So I braved it and went in. Had a lovely 2 hours with other local mums - think I'll go back next week. Two of them live across the road and their children are going to be in DS's year at school so I'll see then again next Thursday at a parent school visit. So glad I went in :D
Some toddler groups are really well run. I first took DD to playgroup when she was six months old, some of the friends she has now 7 1/2 years later were met there...:)

Oh I felt a spot of rain :(... Sunshine has disappeared here although its warm, muggy you might say but dull :(

My strawberries are not going to ripen at this rate:(

What do you mean you braved it tiger? Toddler groups are only run by normal people like me. ;) :rotfl: So glad you went in. :T

I used to run one years ago and like to think it was well run, I had lots of people say it was not the same when I left. :o

Just little things like biscuits were commented on, even then I was a bargain hunter so there was always enough if those little hands came reaching up onto the kitchen counter that there was no need to worry if they had already had one. ;) But once I had left apparently it was restricted. :o

And I was told there was not enough funds to pay for xmas presents and they had to take their own wrapped. I used to fund raise throughout the year and obviously unbeknown to me I was already an MSEer in the making, looking out for presents early on each year. ;)

They were left with a very healthy bank balance and lots of new toys so not sure what happened. I was not paid to run it either, just expenses taken.

I don't think I made any drunken offers earlier. :rotfl:

I was asked if I had any roll up papers at one point. Not sure what to make of that, I don't smoke anything. :o

Enjoy your beach trip tomorrow FC, Night hun xx
