I'm glad you pointed that out Savvy.I can assure everybody I was as surprised as everyone else.:)
Just looking back on this. Gawd's sake, Savvy: the man that dredges up something from ages ago and never forgets a thing:rotfl::o:rotfl::rotfl:.
I don't think you were as surprised as everyone else at all(liar, pants on fiar:D). I think you were more surprised than everyone else:rotfl::rotfl:.:T

These:
Garnier Body Intensive 7 Day Nourishing Lotion - Shea Butter (250ml)
Garnier Intensive 7 Days Softening Nourishing Lotion - Sensitive Almond Milk (250ml)
should in my view be vs M at £1.49. But no good, IMO, as on unwanted A r'back and not on mbuy. Just to let you know so you don't put them in some non-APG basket thinking that A is the cheapest already as shows N/A for M on msm.0 -
Maybe good item to buy on T PP (vs A) as T £2.69 (don't blame me if wheels come off though):
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=65712566&postcount=8203
Also, for the sweet-toothed:
Tvs A
Mr Kipling Almond Slices (6)£1.49/Any 2 for £2.00 89p
Mr Kipling Bakewell Slices (6)as above
Mr Kipling Cherry Bakewells (6)as above. But T Eday Value Cherry Bakewells (6)75p
Mr Kipling Country Slices (6)as above
Mr Kipling Victoria Slices (6)£1.49 89p
Mr Kipling Manor House Cake (400g)£1.49 89p
Mr Kipling Bakewell Tart£1.49 89p (but has been (a) larger than it is now and (b) 65p for the larger ones in S before)
Mr Kipling Strawberry French Fancies (8)£1.00 89p
But some of the own brand cakes (e.g. Angel Cake, Madeira Cake) and slices (e.g. Lemon Slices) are now back on 2 for £1.50 in A. May be - carefully selected ones - on T vs A in 2s or mix and match fillers vs N/A in W, or S. Need to check a.com (for T PP) or msm, very carefully, for which specific ones.
Svs A
Mr Kipling Almond Slices (6)£1.60 89p
Mr Kipling Bakewell Slices (6)£1.60 89p
Mr Kipling Country Slices (6)£1.60 89p
Mr Kipling Victoria Slices (6)£1.60 89p
Mr Kipling Manor House Cake (400g)£1.50 89p
Mr Kipling Cherry Bakewells (6)£1.45 89p
Mr Kipling Bakewell Tart£1.45 89p (but has been (a) larger than it is now and (b) 65p for the larger ones in S before)
Princes Wild Pink Salmon (213g), maybe.
S £2.70 (T £2.69) A £1.09
Or M own brand in twos (2 for £2.00) - not going for T in 2s vs M on that as T, according to msm, appears to be 1g lower:p.
Bird's Eye Crispy Chicken Dippers (12 per pack) on Tvs A or Svs A.
And, of course, now trite I assume, Avs T in 2s on Flora Cuisine £1.00x2 vs £1.70 2 for '1'
And, in Ocado, maybe with 5 packs of grapes (assuming that not yet corrected) [edit - boo, looks like they've spotted their mistake:(], BE Chicken Nuggets 36 pack at £2.49 appear to be 'good' priced.0 -
May be good filler(s) Avs S (together with one pack of the single Maynard wine gums mentioned earlier, B/c ending ...4981 and missing digit):
2x Trebor Extra Strong Mints (46g)/Trebor Soft Mint Peppermint (43g)
Should be 60p each (if 'trigger' works) vs 40p each Sains. Available across the U.K.
Avs W
Maynard Wine Gums single pack (as above) together with any two units from the following list:
Cadbury Crunchie (40g)
Cadbury Flake (32g)
Cadbury Twirl (43g)
Cadbury Fairtrade Dairy Milk (45g)
Cadbury Double Decker (55g)
Should be 60p each vs 'Any 2 for 90p' (W) Not available to Northern Ireland.
These may be 'small' glitches but absolutely invaluable when trying to get 8 different items (and trigger itself does not count, so only two maximum if choose different ones) and makes them 61p for the three packs (approx. 20p each) (vs W) or 52p (17.33333...p each) for the three vs S. If your SA scans them all correctly:(... or you go via SS!:j Assuming the trigger still works of course and that you get enough items that appear.0 -
You buy preorder instore. Pick up the boxes for the games, ps3, xbox or whatever, go to checkout, pay £5 for each one, get a preorder slip, a tillspit, collect 500 points. Points go on your account 48hrs after purchase.Good if you have ahem 'a few' clubcard accounts. Don't go too mad though, points have been removed in the past if they think you're taking the p.
N x
I think one of each on each card then maybe later on buy a few in a different format. Not got money to waste but dd is forever wanting to spend my point so a few more will not hurt.

Aw shucks Nerfdad,
:(:(:(:(:(:( the bad news is I won't be able to take up your kind offer to mow my lawn whilst naked if my apg for reeds didn't work today
:(:(:(:(:(
because the good news is......
my C&C for reeds (plus bacon, blackberries, frozen peas, sweet potatoes, candles & Muller light yoghurts) WORKED! :j:j:j:j:j:j:j
Seriously - Thank you very much for encouraging me to be brave and try this.:beer::beer: I think you brought me luck today Nerfdad because even more astonishingly - I managed to get some 1p chocs in Tosca too!!! :j:j:j
After reading on here about the £20 jewellery box chocolates in Tosca for 1p, I had a look in my local store on Sunday but they didn't have any. On my way to pick up my C&C in Asda, I decided to have a look in another Tosca nearby but really didn't expect to find any. I scoured the shelves to no avail and then noticed boxes of sweets in one of the cages the shelf stackers had put out ready to unload (it was about 8.30pm last night). Among the boxes of Thorntons, Celebrations and Milk Tray I noticed a plain, brown cardboard box. On closer inspection the label said 'chocolates - jewellery boxes'. The brown cardboard box then proceeded to open itself and 4.... yes 4.... jewellery boxes of chocolates just happened to fall in my trolley as I was passing!
There was another brown box with the same label on left in the cage but by that time my heart was hammering so hard I thought if I hung around any longer then someone would think a time bomb had been planted in the store so I chucked a few different items in my trolley (hoping that would mean the choc boxes would be less conspicuous) and legged it to the SS checkout.
I couldn't believe my luck when, not only did the chocs go through for 1p each, but I got a 70p PP back on my other shopping too!!!!

I'm way behind on the thread again so apologies if any/all of this is old news but here are a few things some people might find useful from my shopping in Tosca and Sada yesterday
Bacon, reeds, blackberries, frozen peas, and candles all still working (buy in A v T)
Muller yoghurts compare well A v T (I bought 12 but the new cappuccino flavour (they're yummy) are n/a even though they are selling them in Tosca and they are included in the Tosca 6 for £3 deal)
sweet potatoes compare well A v T and make a good filler
If you are trying to do a shop in Sada or Tosca v Sainsbobs then the Bulmer Cider compares well: (3 for £5 in Sada)
Tesc Asd Sains Morr
1x BULMERS ORIGINAL CIDER 568ML 4.5%
£1.61 † £1.99 £1.50 £1.99
1x BULMERS NO.17 568ML
£1.69 † £2.00 £1.50 £2.09
1x BULMERS BOLD BLACK CHERRY 568ML
£1.70 † £2.00 £1.50 £2.09
The green jewellery boxes of chocolates for 1p are still being unloaded onto the shelves in Tosca so worth looking out for some.
HTH “A journey is best measured in friends, not in miles.”
